This project presents a modern interpretation of the traditional Korean dress, the hanbok. Traditionally composed of multiple layers—including an inner garment, a skirt, and an outer top—the hanbok emphasizes structure, balance, and form. In this reinterpretation, I introduced a functional twist by designing the hanbok as a wrap, similar to a robe, allowing for easier wear while maintaining its traditional essence. The skirt is shaped like flower petals, symbolizing the hibiscus, Korea’s national flower, and serving as a visual representation of cultural identity, resilience, and continuity.
